UPON CONTACTING SMP
A mortgage professional will be in a position to provide
you with information relating to your maximum borrowing capacity,
loan repayments, a range of suitable lenders and loan facilities
and the associated costs of the loan transaction. i.e.(Government
stamp duty and fees) and will also answer any other questions
you may have.
Once these general questions have been satisfied the mortgage
professional will arrange to meet you in person at a time
and place convenient to you. At this meeting the consultant
will focus on obtaining a full understanding of your situation
and mortgage requirements.
The mortgage professional will present a range of potential
lenders and home loan options that will be suitable for you.
To assist us in providing our clients with impartial and
unbiased recommendations we have access to advanced computer
software that enables comparison of loans and facilities
offered by our wide range of panel lenders.
When you have chosen your preferred lender the mortgage professional
will complete the loan application with you and will advise
you as to what supporting documents will be necessary to
support your finance application. Once the mortgage professional
has receipt of the supporting documents they will prepare
your application for submission to the respective lender.
An
experienced mortgage professional makes a huge difference
at this stage of the process as he understands the credit
policies of lenders and has built relationships with the
lenders over time which will ensure you receive great service
and quick loan approvals. It is extremely rare for a loan
to be declined by a lender due to the intimate knowledge
the mortgage professional has about the lenders and their
policies.
SMP will
manage the procedure for obtaining funding from a lender
on your behalf from application through to settlement of
your home loan. The mortgage professional will keep you regularly
informed on the progress of your application. We will do
